Setting Up MT5 XAUUSD Platform

After you have signed up for a xauusd demo practice account - you'll use the account log in credentials & you as a trader can use then download and install MT5 software on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your downloads will pop up), double click the download MT5 file and click next, next until you finish installing.

After you have installed the MetaTrader 5 software you will then open the MT5 platform from the begin menu of your PC computer. After you've opened the MT5 platform you will see the MT5 platform interface you will be working with which might seem complicated at first but it is not.

How to Setup MT5 Software

At the 'top left corner' of the MT5 platform software click on the 'File' Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see 'Login' and click it. You will then be prompted to enter the 'username' and 'password' that you got when you registered for a MT5 practice trading account on your xauusd broker's site.' You are now logged in to your MT5 platform & you are ready to begin xauusd on the MT5 platform.

After this you will see your xauusd account balance displayed just below the gold charts and you can now start using the MT5 platform to place demo trades on the xauusd market.
