The MT4 Web Based Platform is the web platform version of MetaTrader 4 XAUUSD Platform for PC Desktop Platform. MetaTrader 4 Web Trader Version provides the same look and feel for the MT4 platform as that of the MT4 XAUUSD Platform for PC. The MT4 software is a xauusd software that is installed on a client’s computer and it is intended to do the following:
- Plot xauusd trading charts Information about price rates in the form of a grid ( chart )
- Receive Streaming gold price quotes from the brokers
- Perform trading operations: Buying and Selling
- Show the open gold trades and xauusd orders
- Perform technical analysis on gold charts
- Testing of trading strategies on XAUUSD demo xauusd accounts
- Provide account statements of trading history & a summary of profits/losses.

MetaTrader 4 Web API - MetaTrader 4 Web Based Platform - MT4 Web Browser Platform will be similar to the MT4 platform interface that is shown above only that xauusd traders will use a web browser to login to the MetaTrader 4 Web Trader platform. From the Web browser MetaTrader 4 platform gold traders can open trades, analyze xauusd charts and get a summary of trading account balance, open xauusd orders & open gold trades.

Traders can use MetaTrader 4 Web API - MT4 Web Based Platform when they are trading from another Desktop computer that doesn't have MT4 software software installed.
MT4 which is also referred to as MetaTrader 4, is designed to provide tools that can be used by traders to make trading decisions. The xauusd trading platform provides online quotes and streaming data about gold price movement. This information is delivered directly to the MT4 platform. This information that is delivered in the form of realtime quotes is then analyzed on the MetaTrader 4 platform using the technical xauusd tools provided for within the MT4 software.
The MT4 platform is a free software which is provided for by gold trading brokers. You can download the software from online broker’s sites, once you down-load it, you should then install the trading platform on a PC Desktop computer that has an internet connection and then connect to your xauusd broker and start receiving streaming quotes. You can also access this MT4 trader through your xauusd broker MetaTrader 4 Web API - MetaTrader 4 Web Based Platform.
The MT4 has different window & chart panels each designed to deliver a different type of market data information, starting with the xauusd exchange rate quotes used to draw xauusd charts to the Market data window, MetaTrader 4 Tool-bars for attaching xauusd technical indicators to the gold charts and the main menu bar used to navigate the MT4 software.
Installing MetaTrader 4
To install MT4 you will have to download the trading platform, then launch the download, from there a set up wizard appears and all you've to do is to follow the set up instructions. After setup the platform will run automatically just like any other software. You can launch the MT4 from the start menu.
With MetaTrader 4 xauusd account traders can login to either the MetaTrader 4 Web API - MetaTrader 4 Web Based Platform or the MT4 desktop platform and get access to their xauusd account from either of these two gold trading platform.
