Place Parabolic SAR Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

How to Place Indicators on MT4 XAUUSD Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as displayed below.

From the Above window you can then place any indicator that you want on the chart.

Placing Parabolic SAR on a Chart

Step 1: Select the Parabolic SAR button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Parabolic SAR Button Key, and click okay to attach the technical indicator in the trading chart as illustrated & shown below:

To Change Settings, rightclick in Parabolic SAR Indicator, select properties settings and then edit the properties using pop up menu that appears and then click ok button key after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and the Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up.
