Place RVI Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

This Tutorial will explain how to place the RVI Gold Indicator on a Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Platform. For technical analysis: Technical analysis of xauusd RVI.

How to Place Gold Trading Indicators in MT4 Gold Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list as displayed below.

From the Above window you can then place any indicator that you want on the XAUUSD chart.

Placing RVI on Chart

Step 1: Select the RVI button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the RVI Button Key, and click okay to attach the Technical Indicator in the trading chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit RVI Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, rightclick on the Technical Indicator, select properties settings & then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and the RVI Gold Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window panel.
