Place RVI Indicator on Gold Chart on MetaTrader 4

This Tutorial will explain how to place the RVI Gold Indicator on a Gold Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Platform. For technical analysis: Technical analysis of xauusd RVI.

How to Place Gold Trading Indicators on MT4 Gold Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Gold Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a list as displayed below.

From the Above window you can then place any technical indicator that you want on the XAUUSD chart.

Placing RVI on Gold Chart

Step 1: Select the RVI button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the RVI Button Key, and click okay to attach the Technical Indicator on the trading chart as illustrated & shown below:

To Adjust the Settings, right click on the Technical Indicator, select properties settings & then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears & the RVI Gold Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window panel.
