How to Place MetaTrader 5 Indicators in MT5 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Platform

Open Navigator panel as shown & illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard shortcut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the MT5 indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) & will now illustrate a list as shown below.

From Above window you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in the MetaTrader 5 chart.

Placing Standard Deviation Forex Indicator on a Chart

Step 1: Select the Standard Deviation button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Doubleclick Standard Deviation Button, and click okay to insert the indicator on chart as shown and illustrated below:

Edit FX Indicator Settings

To Change Setting, right-click in Standard Deviations Trading Indicator, select properties & then edit settings using pop-up menu that appears and click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following popup appears & Standard Deviation Indicator parameters can be edited from this pop up panel.
