How to Place New Stock Indices Trade Order in Tools Menu in MT4 Platform

A new order to buy or sell a trade can be found on tools menu within the MT4 Platform. Button key for placing a new trade is shown below. (Key board ShortCut Keys 'F9')

Placing a New Stock Indices Order

As a stock indices trader, once you select the new order button as illustrated above the following popup window will appear. This popup includes all the settings for placing a new trade order.

Following Setting are specified for setting up a new order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded - stock indices.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss Stock Index Order - Set Stop Loss Stock Indices Order, This option can be set after opening trade, or for pending stock indices orders
4. Take Profit Stock Index Order - Set Take Profit Stock Indices Order, This option can be set after opening trade, or for pending stock indices orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending Stock Indices Order
6. Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade

To Buy at current stock index price hit the Buy by Market button key

To Sell at current stock index price hit the Sell by Market button

Setting Pending Indices Orders

To Set a pending trade at another stock index price, Change the 'Type' option from 'Market Execution' to "Pending Stock Indices Order" as shown below.

A menu list will appear & show the following options.

1. Buy Limit Stock Indices Order
2. Sell Limit Stock Indices Order
3. Buy Stop Indices Order
4. Sell Stop Stock Indices Order

Once you select the type of pending stock index trading order to place: then tap and click the 'Place' button as shown on the above screenshot to complete the setup.
