Placing Arrows on Stock Charts in Meta Trader 4
The arrows button on the MT4 under the insert menu options is used to plot arrows on the stock charts within the MT4 Platform. The arrow buttons is shown below.
Following arrows can be drawn on the MetaTrader software under this arrow button keys option:
- Thumbs Up
- Thumbs Down
- Arrow Up
- Arrow Down
- Stop Sign
- Check Sign
- Left Stocks Price Label
- Right Stocks Price Label
Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down Arrows
Thumbs up and thumbs down button can be used on stocks price chart to mark levels where traders can open trades and show levels where traders can close trade. The thumbs up & thumbs down arrows are pictured below. As a trader to adjust the width, rightclick on these arrows, select properties & choose a different line width.
Arrow Up & Arrow Down Arrows
The arrow up and arrow down arrows are used to show the levels where a trader opens a buy stocks trade or areas where a trader opens a sell stocks trade, these arrow buttons are shown below.
Stop Sign and Check Sign
The stop sign & check sign can also be used to mark points where a trader opens and closes a trade, for examples the image below shows where a trader opened a buy stock trade and closed the trade.
Left Stocks Price Label and Right Stock Price Label
The Stocks Price labels are used to show stocks prices on the particular level which these labels are set, the right stocks price label will popup to the right side of the stocks price while the left side will popup to the left side of the stocks price as shown on the stocks examples highlighted and described below.
