How to Place MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators in MT5 Stock Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click it) and then choose " Navigator " window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On MT5 Navigator window panel, choose "Technical Indicators" , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or doubleclick "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any MetaTrader 5 indicator that you want on MT5 stock chart.

Placing Moving Average on Stocks Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button on the MetaTrader 5 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double click Moving Average Button, and click okay to add the indicator on the chart as shown below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Alter Settings, right-click in Trading Indicator, choose property setting & then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button once you have changed the settings.

The following pop up panel appears & MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this popup window panel.
