Place Average Directional Movement Index, ADX Indicator

How to Place Crude Oil Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Crude Oil Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click it) and then choose the " Navigator " window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, select "Technical Indicators" , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Oil Indicators Menu on Navigator

Expand technical indicator menu by clicking the expand button key marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now display and illustrate a list as shown below.

From Above window panel you can then place any technical indicator you want on the crude oil trading chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a Oil Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Average Directional Movement Index button on the MT4 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the ADX Button Key, & click okay to place the indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit ADX Crude Oil Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right-click in the ADX, choose property setting and then edit the properties of technical indicator using popup menu that pops up and click ok button key once you change the settings.

The following pop up window appears and ADX settings can be edited from this pop up window.
