Place On Balance Volume Indicator on Crude Oil Trading Chart on MT4

How to Place OBV Indicator on MT4 Crude Oil Trading Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Panel

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click it) and then choose the " Navigator " window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, select "Technical Indicators" , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Oil Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now display and illustrate a list as shown below.

From Above window panel you can then place any technical indicator you want on the crude oil chart. The OBV oil trading volume technical indicator can be used as a oil trading reversal indicator, oil trading exit indicator or oil entry indicator.

Placing On Balance Volume Oil Indicator on Crude Oil Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the On Balance Volume button on the MT4 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double click the On Balance Volume Button Key, & click okay to add the OBV Indicator on the chart as shown below:

Edit OBV Oil Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right-click in the On Balance Volume Trading Indicator, choose property settings and then edit properties of technical indicator using the pop up menu that pops up and click okay button key once you change the settings.

The following popup window appears & On Balance Volume Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this popup panel.
