Place Average True Range Indicator on Crude Oil Trading Chart in MT4

How to Place Oil Trading Indicators on MT4 Oil Trading Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window Panel

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to ' View ' menu (then click it) and then select ' Navigator ' window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the 'Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, choose "Technical Indicators" , (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Crude Oil Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand technical indicator menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or double-click the 'indicators' menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now display & illustrate a list as shown below.

From the Above window panel you can then place any technical indicator you want on the crude oil chart.

Placing ATR on a Oil Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT4 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Average True Range Button Key, & click okay to add the ATR on the chart as shown below:

Edit Crude Oil Trading Indicator Setting

To Adjust the Settings, right click on the ATR, select properties settings and then edit properties of trading indicator using the popup menu that appears and click okay button key once you change the setting.

The following popup window appears & Average True Range Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this popup panel.
