How to Place Oil Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Oil Trading Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to " View " menu (then click it) and then choose the " Navigator " window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, select "Technical Indicators" , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Crude Oil Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now display and illustrate a list as shown below.

From Above window panel you can then place any technical indicator you want on the Oil Trading chart.

Placing Moving Average on Crude Oil Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button on the MT4 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the Moving Average Button, and click ok to place the indicator on the chart as displayed below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right-click in the Technical Indicator, choose properties setting and then edit properties of trading indicator using the popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window.
